"Remove the dependency on the zip command line tool when developing plugins"?
0.8.60 has a new feature "Remove the dependency on the zip command line tool when developing plugins"
What's that mean exactly? |

It just means that you dont need to use the zip command line tool for the "make changes - build plugin - test" development cycle anymore. calibre-customize has a new -b flag that will automatically zip up the contents of your plugin directory and add the plugin to calibre. See calibre-customize -h for details. Or see here: http://manual.calibre-ebook.com/crea...ugging-plugins (the last paragraph)
