These lists are always put out by big publishers. I'd love to find lists of great indie books in various genres. The best new authors are often skipping big 5 and going straight to self-publishing these days. Weeding them out from the massive slush gets to be a real pain sometimes.

I'd have included Hugh Howey's Wool. It can be had as an Omnibus single edition ebook, but was originally released as a 5 ebook series.

If you go to Amazon.com and look for the Kindle version of Wool Omnibus, all you'll see if the Kindle in Motion version. Looks like in the US, you're screwed as the ePub version is no longer being sold and the Kindle version is Kindle in Motion.

It's not that much of a hardship. I still see all 5 original installments of Wool available for purchase at Amazon.

And you get a regular AZW3 if you download to a device or app that doesn't support KIM (or did last time I checked).

I just recommended Shanna Lauffey's Time Shifters series in another thread, it would fit here too. There's an omnibus edition of the first 5 books that goes on sale periodically.
