Filtering question
I have a column in Calibre that lists where I purchased a book from. Is it possible to filter out more than one criteria? I seem to be able to only filter out one at a time. For example if I want to filter out books from Amazon K4PC and imported from Kindle, it will only let me do one or the other.
Or if say I want to see books bought from B&N and Kobo and Smashwords, etc., same thing I can only see one at a time. Am I doing something wrong? Carol |

It sounds like you're using the tag browser to filter? Try holding down the ctrl key while selecting the entries.

You can type search criteria directly into the Search box With multiple criteria linked using and/or keywords to apply boolean logic. You might want to initially try seeing what is inserted there by calibre when you click on various things in the Tags browser.

If you type in the corresponding search directly, use the "and" keyword.

Yes. Look at the search bar to see the search generated when you click with Control key down. It will put "or" between the searches you would have seen when clicking singly. Just type the search you want manually. You can also put "and" between the searches to see only items that meet both criteria, or "not" to see those that meet the first, but not the second.

Select all books and click the drop down arrow next to convert books and create a catalog. Selecting csv will give you specific control. Last edited by DoctorOhh; 02-11-2011 at 11:44 PM. |
