Question Where to find link to "update_PW3_5.6.1.1_initial.bin"
Hey, looking to downgrade my PW3 from 5.8.1 to 5.6.1 in order to jailbreak.
No link in here, so where can I find the "update_PW3_5.6.1.1_initial.bin" file?

You do not find one, that firmware has been withdrawn from distribution, it has bricked too many Kindles.
Use update_PW3_5.7.4_initial.bin instead.

The jailbreak that will work in this 5.7.4 firmware is the "software jailbreak" in the thread knc1 posted in reply to your questions. Which jailbreak were you trying to use?

All of our recent problem reports and questions read as if they come from users of various foreign language translations of our directions.

I have been spending some time, reading (machine translations) of those foreign language translations.
Some are pretty good, some are terrible.

The Russian forums are doing a pretty good job with the directions.
At least those who have members who are also members here.
