Lurid Titles of real pulp stories

Thought you might enjoy the outrageously lurid titles of these pulp stories, which are to be found in The Pulp Fiction Megapack. They don't make titles like these any more. I mean, for Heaven's sake, "Death Mates for the Lust-Lost" is close to unbeatable.

“Blood of the Vampire Dead,” by Robert Leslie Bellem
“Mistress of Snarling Death,” by Paul Chadwick
“Fiances for the Devil’s Daughter,” by Russell Gray
“The Shrieking Pool,” by G. T. Fleming-Roberts
“Death Mates for the Lust-Lost,” by Hugh J. Gallagher
“The Dogs of Purgatory,” By Hugh Pendexter
“When Manhattan Sank,” by George S. Brooks
“Bride of the Ape,” by Harold Ward
“Blood Bait for Hungry Mermaids,” by John Wallace
“Ship of the Golden Ghoul,” by Lazar Levi
“Black Pool for Hell Maidens,”
“Death Flight,” by Robert Wallace
“The Scalpel of Doom,” by Ray Cummings
“Servant of the Beast,” by L. Patrick Greene
“The Dead Book,” by Howard Hersey
“The Brain of Many Bodies,” by E.A. Grosser
“Tong Torture,” by Emile C. Tepperman
“The Ray of Madness,” by Captain S. P. Meek
“The Terrible Tentacles of L-472,” by Sewell Peaslee Wright
“The Ape-Men of Xlotli,” by David R. Sparks
“The Floating Island of Madness,” by Jason Kirby
“The Corpse on the Grating,” by Hugh B. Cave

There must be a lot more like them....

Thanks for that!

Yes, there are THOUSANDS of ridiculous, outrageous, and funny titles.

I'm sure there's a grid, where they pick a word from each column.

"Faeces....throwing.....gnats..... of the monkey's....maiden aunt"

It would be easy for a techie to make a random generator along these lines - a kind of fruit machine which stops each element of the sentence.
Maybe Noun, verb, adjective, noun etc. All of the type suitable for silly pulp titles.

From one of the issues of Terror Tales [Radio Archives] that I own, devoted to Nat Schachner:

The Devil’s Brewers — May 1935 issue of Terror Tales
by Nat Schachner
It was rumored that the clean, swift-flowing blood of virgin maids was the priceless ingredient of the new liqueur brewed by the red-robed men of Ellendale!
*
Railroad to Hell — June 1935 issue of Terror Tales
by Nat Schachner
Kent Chandler and Jane, his lovely bride, scoffed at the lurid legend. But when the madman pastor rose from his grave to lead his vengeful host, Kent knew a brave man’s fear, and Jane explored the abysses of despair!
*
Creatures of the Dusk
— July 1935 issue of Terror Tales
by Nat Schachner
Night after night, those weird creatures prowled at dusk while the bravest of men cowered in terror. Yet Dean Madison must fight alone to free his beloved from their clutches — though he fall, himself, into their hopeless half-world...
*
A Feast for Hell’s Angels — May 1936 issue of Terror Tales
by Nat Schachner
Even the slashing horror of the flying demons’ bloody beaks and talons was as nothing compared to the fiery fate which overtook Mel’s young bride above the bleak, black cliffs of Malventure Island.

If it is beatable, is beating it a good idea?
