Remarkable
Hi all,
Following up on other threads. I’m in the marker for a 10.3-13.3 inch ereader. Price wise the Pocketbook Inkpad X seems the cheapest by a couple hundred dollars but many of the reviews say it is very slow. I was looking at the Remarkable 1, given the 2 will start with the same OS and will actually be a little heavier. At discount it’s the cheapest at that size I can find. I do realize Remarkable effectively takes a picture of the screen and the search/dictionary functions won’t work, but for those who have one, how are the fonts and how easy to install custom ones? I like few page turns, so if you can’t get a clear, smaller print or if there is a massive line space gap I wouldn’t be interested. If it’s the same speed as the Inkpad I might splurge for the extra $100. 😂 |
