Catalog timeout *only with Stanza*

I am running Calibre 0.6.42 on Ubuntu Lucid. When I start the content server and access port 8080 from Firefox on another computer in the local network, it works, but when I attempt to access the catalog from Stanza on my iPhone through the local network I get "Catalog error - timed out". What might be causing this?

Thanks,
Jim Trigg

Increasing the timeout from 60 to 309 didn't help.

Are you setting the URL in Stanza up as a Catalog or a Web page? If you are setting it up as a Catalog, then try adding /stanza at the end of the URL.

It's auto-detecting as a web page.

It sounds very much like it, but I have tried again making sure that only one computer on the network is running calibre and got the same result.

Maybe there's something weird about ubuntu specifically, like an old or missing package
