calibre: error while loading shared libraries: libcalibre-launcher.so: cannot open sh
I'm trying to get a calibre version that will run the dedrm plugin. Somehow I upgraded to 4.99, then tried to go back to 4.23 and got the above error, then tried the newest 5.11, but I keep getting this error. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks ahead of time... ken |

First uninstall your distro calibre package. Then install the official calibre binaries as described here: https://calibre-ebook.com/download_linux

I'm running ubuntu 20.04. Is a reboot required after uninstalling the old package, before reinstalling the new package again?

You might have been running /opt/calibre/bin/calibre instead of /opt/calibre/calibre (I just made this mistake and got a similar error)
