Great on Kindle book
Hi all!

I recently noticed that some of the book listings have this "Great on Kindle book" message to indicate that they are somehow higher quality than the rest.

Is there something that needs to be done during the formatting and file prep in order to be included in this group of books, or is this something that Amazon has reserved for big publications, already best sellers.....

It may make sense, but I find it irritating. Amazon is pointing shoppers to Amazon's own imprints, just as it fakes its best-seller lists to favor them.

Nonsense. It has nothing to do with their own imprints, NJ. I have a number of self-pubbing customers that have GOK books.

All anyone has to do to be eligible for GOK is to follow the formatting Guidelines--which you do not--and if the book is considered suitable, it will get the label.

I've been telling you about those old-fashioned image sizes for years now--and now, they will make you ineligible for GOK, NJ. Just update your image sizes, make sure that you don't have anything else that's askew and you should be good to go, especially given your trade-publishing history.
