Looks like new Carta screen with Regal tech and quad core does the magic. Much faster compared to Onyx.

In general, how reliable are the Rakuten vendors when it comes to warranty?

The RP-1 really is a dream come true, but for the price they ask it better has a solid warranty policy in case it is defective. With Onyx products you at least have vendors from within the EU, even though the Carta Max seems inferior for the job I have.
