Other system for Nook
Today i have hacked my nook with Android, but i thought it was better. Now I want to know if there are other operativ system for this e-reader. Are there?

Nothing else has been ported to the NookColor as far as I know. What else would you want to run on it? Ubuntu maybe? What extra functionality would you be looking for? For a tablet, Android is better suited than a full-fledged Linux distro.

The nook is android-based so you didn't install an OS on the nook, you merely enabled access to the main OS and market/apps and other features.
As for other OS's, I wouldn't count on it. What else would you want? Android's pretty strong and feature-heavy. |

Yes Android is fantastic. I have it on my lg. I love it but in the nook i try adobe reader, beamreader, aldiko, kindle, fbreader and anyone doesn't have zoom page and rotate screen, Or one or the other. Sorry for the bad english

Ah sorry, kindle, fbreader and Aldiko...i don't remember precisaly doesn't import pdf.

ezpdf is a very good reader that does zoom and rotate, even without accelerometer. Good for PDF. I guess moon+ reader pro does the same for epub...

Ah ok thanks...i have an other question but i don't know if i must open e new thread...if so i
delete this. How can install app on my nook rooted that there aren't from the android market? |
