Saved Searches and Clips

Hi

I have noticed the following.

Clips can be inserted using one of four functions, BUT some functions can be used to paste into more places than others.

clip manager F&R, stylesheet and html content files
clipbar F&R, stylesheet and html content files
context menu cannot paste into find and replace
clip view cannot paste into F&R or stylesheet

Saved Searches can be inserted into Find and replace in two ways .

Context menu with the cursor on F&R(limited space)
Saved Search Manager

Is it just historical or is there a rationale behind the above In any case would it be an idea to consider how these functions.have been implemented?

The fickleness of of where things can be pasted (and how: context menu vs ctrl+p) has been brought up before. It's just pretty low on the list of things to look into, is all.

Fine, at least it is on the list and I accept it is not a problem, just a bit of historical inconsistency.

I recently noticed it and wondered, why?
