They start shipping in December and come with an extra tip and eraser + rechargeable battery that lasts for a month. The focus is being able to write and then smudge with your fingers. Comes in Walnut and Graphite flavors.

Wow, the motion in that video made me a little nauseous. I liked the music though. Not sure what to think about the pencil stylus.

I like the visual design of the stylus, but I'm a bit skeptical about the rectangular section shape, not sure it will be comfortable in the hand.

You can blend in the Paper app? I don't much like this app so I never bought the additional brushes and I deleted it from my iPad. I think.

Oh goodness... its powered?? I think, although its appealing (I have the app) I'll stick with my boring little rubber tipped thingies and replace them as they get old.

The battery on my Wacom Intuos pen, which I keep carrying around and even occasionally using despite hating it and feeling cheated about paying 100 euros for it, has ran out just by sitting in my purse blinking its little blue light. I tried to replace it but couldn't find a AAAA battery last night.

So yes, I'd be wary of a powered stylus.

Try Radio Shack. They usually have odd batteries when I have needed them.

Really??? Thank you!!!! I'll have to try that, but I suspect it will turn itself on again anyway in my handbag.

Rechargeables, yeah well, if I can find them, I'd have to buy a charger, and frankly they are a pain. I'm not sure it's worth it.

What I should do of course, is just throw this stylus away and forget about the whole thing. I don't know why I don't do it.

The Wacom Intuos stylus comes with a carrying case. Does it still turn on in your handbag in the case?

It hasn't been out very long, can you not return it for a refund?

I don't like the carrying case, it's much too big and seems impractical to me, but I have to admit I haven't tried using it, I guess I should.

It's too late to return it, I've been using it for a few weeks. But I might be able to sell it.

The problem is that there is only one app with which I can use the stylus: Procreate. But on the other hand I like procreate, and without the pressure sensitivity it's just not as good. I tried adjusting the brush settings to simulate pressure sensitivity with speed, which most other apps do, but it's not working very well so far.

Which is why I keep carrying around two styluses, the Bamboo for Noteshelf and drawing/painting apps, and the Intuos for Procreate.

Thanks, I'll have a look! Sorry for derailing the thread though, it is about 53's pencil stylus after all.
