Sorry if I missed the stuff.
I'm trying to keep a bit of control over this recovery because I don't want to post something and find out a month later that it wrecked a half dozen people's devices.

I've made custom recoveries for a dozen Onyx devices.
But some of them have never been tested, some were tested but they never said if it worked.
And some of them "kind of" worked but needed work-arounds.
At this point I'm losing track of what's what.

I know that the Page recovery needs a fix.
I need to look into that.

Decrypt the update.upx to update.zip, put on flash drive or SD card.
Flash recovery to recovery.

Is it all happy? Does the text say "waiting"? Is it right-side up?
Stick the flash or SD card in.
Does it run happily? Does it reboot? Is it a Page now?

Yes. The text say Waiting for flashdrive. It's right-side up
Auto reboot after done flashing. Mine is a Page now

Hi Renate,
Here is the report on Recovery Flash Issue
I followed your instructions carefully. Here’s what I did:
First, I installed ADB on my computer and followed this guide to set up EDL mode.

I loaded the necessary files as instructed on Temblast’s EDL page.

Then, I flashed the rec-page.img (the recovery file you provided) into both recovery_a and recovery_b partitions.

After flashing, I used the command edl /z to boot into recovery mode.

Problem:
The device shows a blank screen (no display at all). I held the power button for 15 seconds to force a restart, and the device booted normally. However, when I tried entering recovery mode again (either via adb reboot recovery), I still got a blank screen. Now, I’m stuck with this issue.

The blank screen is normal. There is no splash.
What you should be looking for is ADB accessibility when you go to recovery.
