It would be possible to have the system set the book cover as a screensaver if the option exists on the device to set a screensaver as an image from a file.
The reading app would just need to copy the current cover to the folder you select in the screensaver settings, and clear/replace it when you open a new book. That should cause the eink tablet to bring up the image before going to sleep. I suppose you might get lucky and find a developer willing to add that function, but it shouldn't be too difficult. |

On my nova 2 ? Yes.
Rooting does not affect the update function if you mean that. It can also be uninstalled without a trace and the guarantee does not expire either. As I wrote, the devices are very user-friendly as far as that is concerned. |
