Nook STR as a second screen for PC?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3d1i2xLvAfM

^^In this video the guy is using Windows 7 VNC on nook, and it looks quite impressive to me.

Would it be convenient to use a Nook as a second screen for typing text, programming, or reading web pages? Has anyone tried that?

I love the STR for reading ebooks but find it barely usable for web-based news headlines and weather updates.

I don't think there would be any point if you are in the same room as your desktop. If you were away from your house and needed to access your computer in an emergency I suppose there could be a use for it.

...provided you don't have to tap on buttons. :P The window closing button looks impossible to use.
