Kindle KDK and Simulator

Hello all!
i am a newbie in this forum and in ebook reader platforms.
At this moment i want dev on Kindle some application. Attending the KDK license, i am looking for some information about the development.

I have found some different project and the kdk api are visible and i can use it.
But i need a simulator. The only simulator that i find is http://code.google.com/p/kdk-emulator/.
With this simulator my kindlet are always blank even if the methods of root container tell me that are visibile but not in focus.

Some of you works with this simulator?
Attending kdk, how do u dev kindlet?

Thanks in advace

if you check the source code, you should found all Kindle specified component just have empty implementation. so it just not action. how ever you can use awt stuff.

the purpose of this emulator is just let your kindlet can be run on your PC.
