Is the Kindle DX sold out?

I have had thoughts about picking up a DX and turned to eBay to search for one and they are all selling above what Amazon sells them for

Was the same when the Kindle 2 was only available in the US. eBay sellers were easily 30% more expensive than Amazon. Just because they shipped outside the US.
Probably the same with the DX
