What are best browser fonts?

Even if you don't think so; but you have to admit that you spend whole lot of time reading things in your browser. In fact, sometimes more than your e-reader. I face the same thing too. Can anyone tell me, what are best fonts for your browser? Especially when you have to read articles on wikipedia, news, blogs and all those long things.

I stuck myself to Verdana, but I thought, maybe there are better fonts than it for this purpose. Are there any?

I don't know about technical details of which fonts are best for which types of uses, but as far as I'm concerned it's a matter of subjective taste, which fonts users are most comfortable with are probably the ones they've used the most frequently. Usually I just leave fonts set to whatever the defaults are.

Oddly I often tend toward sans serif fonts, even though they're very annoying when encountering names beginning with Il.

Otherwise, I quite like Verdana too.

You may want to search on website usability fonts, or something similar. There is a lot of information out there.
