PRS-700 won't charge?

waaaaaah!!! My reader was down to about 25% battery, so i plugged it into the usb on my comp, added some books so I know it was 'attached' ok -- I left it overnight and this morning, the batter is STILL at 25%

what gives????

Are you using the USB that came with your Sony? I know the pin configuration is not exactlly the same as other USBs. It needs a special pin to charge. That is the best guess I can give. Make sure you use the original Sony cable

It could have been that your computer "went to sleep" overnight & instead of charging your reader's battery, It probably started draining it after awhile. It was probably charging until it went to sleep after x number of hours with no activity. I know that happened to me & my laptop.
