About Comics and IPDF
Sorry, I don´t speak English so well and maybe you don´t understand to me.
I think that the better to read comics in Iliad will be to cut every page in frames, like that is so dificult I do this: - Use some infranview batch that cut all comics pages in predefined parts (like a cut template). This parts have one or more real frames. -I make a pdf file with the complete page and parts. Problems: -The cut parts are the same for all pages so some are wrong. -Like for each page the pdf have all the page and its parts the file size is so big. The second problem can be solved if every cut will be change for a sequence comands landscape, zoom and pan (if there are five cuts then will be five sequences) in IPDF. The frist If you can choose in wrong pages other "cut template" maybe was a solution. I think that this imply to store the comand sequences in a file. See attach (bat and two examples "not good"). |

cut comic pages in frames
I make this to cut comics pages in frames, I’m not a profesional programer so the code is so dirty is and Excel+ VBA macro that call to photoshop cs2 and infranview. So you need that:
- Excel - Photoshop2 CS2 in spanish (sorry, the program run two actions for photoshop and same words are in spanish ) - Infranview Try it like a beta version. The program read frames from left to right and up to down. It works well if the frames are well define (with bordes and space) and the background white in other case can fail, so the page is not cut. Sorry but I can not do better, and now I don´t have spare time. I added new acctions for potoshop: CS3 spanish CS2 english Like modify acctions is not easy I do (some comands like "make/hacer" stop the acctions from CS2 to CS3. I can not try with CS4 or CS3 english. I will be added an example, source page and pdf end. Last edited by mac; 11-30-2008 at 12:17 AM. Reason: New acctions added |

I like to read comic, too. I used iLiad to read comic a lot recently. Though I don't quite understand your description, I do admire your passion and effort.
