Given that all it does is take notes (i.e., no "Android", no "Apps", no ebooks, no music/video, if I read the product site correctly), I'd say $99 is the right price, and the device as a whole is easily feasible.

It's an electronic note/drawing pad, and as such "interesting". I might even buy one just out of curiousity.

People have mentioned it's similar to the "Boogie Board" LCD tablet (shown here on ThinkGeek: http://www.thinkgeek.com/geek-kids/3-7-years/e330/) but the BB doesn't actually save anything. (Think an etch-a-sketch with a stylus instead of knobs.)

If it can import pdfs (looks like they want v.1.5 to deal with file input, and v.1.0 is just file creation) and has an all-day battery life, $99 is totally in "buy out of curiosity" range. Heck, I thought the $199 Asus EeeNote was in "buy out of curiosity range."

Until it makes it into my sweaty hands (or is listed in stock on Amazon), I say vaporware.

I'm disappointed the multi-color version is discontinued.

It looks cool anyway. I think I'd like the green, or when available the custom yellow for visibility.

I want Gunner to come in and say he'll take GREEN because RED is not an option.

Vaporware, trying to attract investors.

Resolution is VERY POOR. Every line you will draw, it will show its little squares. How are you going to read with such a poor res? Just good for notes.

Sarah,

Not going to break my cardinal rule again, which is, "Never, ever buy a first production run product. Did I mention Never?"
