Book crashes Calibre Companion

Until now I didn't have any problem with sending books from Calibre to CC. But yesterday I tried to send book and CC stopped working. When I opened it again I can see following message:

"Database needs updating
The database is being updated. This may take a while.

You can continue to use the app, but you will not be able to open the grouping drawer until the update finishes."

It works until I scroll in book list down to mentioned book - after that the CC crashes.

I'm not sure what I should look for in the book to fix it.
