Władysław Stanisław Reymont ist ein außerhalb Polens weitgehend unbekannter Literaturnobelpreisträger.

Er erhielt 1924 für seinen vierbändigen, nach Jahreszeiten unterteilten Roman Die Bauern den Literatur-Nobelpreis. Der Władysław-Reymont-Flughafen Łódź wurde ihm zu Ehren benannt.

Die Novellen aus dem Bauern Milieu sind passend in der Schrift eines bekannten Polnischen Schriftkünstlers gesetzt, der Antykwa Toruńska von Zygfryd Gardzielewski (1914–2001).
