PRS-300 Whole ebook not showing

I downloaded some ebooks my friend bought and gave me and converted them woth Calibre to PDF fromat and put them on my ereader using reader library, but when i go to read it, i get to like the 20th page and its completly blank until the endish bit???

but on my computer the whole book is showing??

grrr this eraeder i JUST bought lie a week ago and just using now?? so angry, doesn anyone know how to help, much help would be loved

Try converting to LRF in Calibre. See if that works.

hey so convert the pdf to lrf???

its happening with like all the books, so im confused as wheather its the actual pdf r my reader thats faulty.

What was the format of the original books?

I would convert from the original to epub or lrf using Calibre. Pdf is probably the worst choice for your reader. And trying to reconvert these pdf's isn't going to work. You need the originals.

Does the PDF open on your computer? If not, it is probably the file.

If it does open, another possibility is to copy and past the whole PDF text into Word and save it as a RTF and then convert it LRF or EPUB.

You can try using caliber to directly convert from PDF to LRF as robkat suggested. I had an epub that wouldn't open on my reader (but did open on my computer) and converting it to LRF worked (don't ask me why, though).

Also you might try Staza desktop to convert. I've used it when Calibre was buggy with certain books.

Yes pdf opens fine on my computer, its just when put onto the reader and i try to use it all i get are blank pages.

But il give you suggestions a go and see what happens.

also its quite confusing as everywhere i read sony says that pdfs are the best to read on their reader
