"Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate: Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And summer's lease hath all too short a date: Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines, And often is his gold complexion dimmed, And every fair from fair sometime declines, By chance, or nature's changing course untrimmed: But thy eternal summer shall not fade, Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st, Nor shall death brag thou wand'rest in his shade, When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st, So long as men can breathe or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this gives life to thee." Thanks, Patricia ! |

My condolences to Patricia's family and friends. Patricia was an amazingly prolific contributor to MR and will be sorely missed.

This is such sad news. I'm still fairly new here but I always enjoyed Patricia's post. Her obvious intelligence, the way she had of getting her message across and her patience and willingness to help the new people find there way around this place.
She will be sorely missed!! |

oui, je la connaissais bien et c'était vraiment une très chère amie. je suis accablée de savoir que je ne la verrai plus. elle me manquera toujours. j'ai l'impression qu'elle m'a laissé un trou dans le coeur qui ne sera jamais comblé.

While I did not know Patricia, I did lose someone very close to me unexpectedly due to a stroke and wish to offer my condolences. May her family and friends find comfort in the many memories they shared with her.

Fond memories, such a loss... let's all have a memorial apéro in her honor? -----------------UPDATE---------------------- We are going to meet some time this week in Paris to honor Patricia's memory... I like the idea of us people meeting, in each & every place we live in, around the planet, to talk & share our memories of patricia... 'rather endearing, wouldn't it?'... I have created a Donation Page which will split your domain in Memorium of Pat evenly among the three charities requested by her family.
http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/PatClark You can make your donation on line with a credit card. I hope this helps people make a donation to all three charities in one pass. BOb |
