Hi everybody, greetings from Downunder!!

I recently bought myself a Nokia N800. Just LOVING it! Great free FBreader software makes reading and formatting ebooks a real delight! I can lie in bed and download a book through wifi and be reading it straight away!
Currently reading a Neal Stephenson book - Zodiac - with blue/green lettering on a black background. The N800 has the most fantastic hi-res screen, pixels so small, hey what pixels? I've been on the look out for a really handy ebook reader and now I've got it.

I found this forum and already I've used a program developed by one of your members to convert lit files to rtf on a Mac - and that has made things so much simpler! What a great resource! Thanks

Welcome to the forum. I love your country. Havent been to Tasmanaia yet, but a friend of mine lives there now. He teaches at the university. Will definately visit him there some time.

Tassie is a great place! Very beautiful and special. Does your friend teach at Launceston or Hobart? There are two campuses.
I was in Germany, oh about.... 25 years ago!! Mostly in Munich. I loved it there and hope to visit again one day.

He's at Hobart and i would rather go today than later, but flying long distance with babies is just not that great. Hopefully in 2 years.
