Output Cover Size

Everything about Calibre is great, have made a tonne of books & maps on it now, but there is one thing that bugs me when editing the meta data for the covers of my books.

I click browser and find the .jpg I want as the cover, it imports correctly, looks good and takes up the whole cover area, but then when on output the book cover is always tiny and doesn't take up the whole screen.

Im outputting to LRF as I really don't like ePUB on my PRS500 (its fine on my wife's 505 though).

Ive checked though the preferences and this forum but I cannot find anything on this.

Same problem

I have the same problem. The cover import (via local file) displays fine in the metadata window, but when I preview my mobi conversion, the cover is squashed vertically. Is this an actual conversion problem, or is it a problem with Calibre's previewer?
