iPad == updated Radio Shack Model 100

For those too young to remember it, that was a small slate-style computer which was half keyboard and half display (a b/w LCD). Surprisingly good battery life since it ran on a couple of C cell batteries (despite joke articles in TRS-80-oriented magazines which suggested it was a plot to sell batteries).

Given how influential and ground-breaking the Model 100 was, I see this resemblance as a great thing (that and I really miss my RS portable). Interestingly, the Model 100 featured the last bit of production code written by Bill Gates --- a Model 100 emulator would make a _great_ application.
