View custom column on device

I've added a custom column to display the file format and it displays OK in the Library view but does not show up in the Device view. Is there a way to make this happen?

I don't believe (there is no provision, when right clicking a column header) custom columns can be added to Device view.

The only place I have seen Format for the device, is if you use the Delete option: remove books from device: then you see format on the confirmation screen

It's only for one book at a time, but if you select a book in the Device view you can see the full pathname/extension in the 'Path:' field in the Book Details panel.

Column header

Thanks to all. It looks like it's not possible to add a custom column to the Device view. I'll stop trying!

View custom column on device

Hi Karma

I've installed the View Manager plugin and created a new view but I don't understand your instruction "Virtual view with search «on device» "? I don't see how to activate the view I have created.

Help please!

I think View Manager only works on the PC Library it doesn't work on the Device because when I click on the Virtual Library button on the toolbar the options are greyed out?

@Snowsride - I think you're confusing Virtual Libraries and View Manager, they're different things. To see a View Manager view you have to select it from the View Manager options, viz

Name:	3.jpg
Views:	80
Size:	29.7 KB
ID:	167228

You probably have the View Manager icon on the toolbar, just click it and you'll get the list of views you've created.
