View custom column on device
I've added a custom column to display the file format and it displays OK in the Library view but does not show up in the Device view. Is there a way to make this happen?

I don't believe (there is no provision, when right clicking a column header) custom columns can be added to Device view.
The only place I have seen Format for the device, is if you use the Delete option: remove books from device: then you see format on the confirmation screen |

It's only for one book at a time, but if you select a book in the Device view you can see the full pathname/extension in the 'Path:' field in the Book Details panel.

Column header
Thanks to all. It looks like it's not possible to add a custom column to the Device view. I'll stop trying!

I do the following to see «my» columns with books on device: Virtual view with search «on device» and view manager plugin to select and order columns for that view |

View custom column on device
Hi Karma
I've installed the View Manager plugin and created a new view but I don't understand your instruction "Virtual view with search «on device» "? I don't see how to activate the view I have created. Help please! |

I think View Manager only works on the PC Library it doesn't work on the Device because when I click on the Virtual Library button on the toolbar the options are greyed out?

You probably have the View Manager icon on the toolbar, just click it and you'll get the list of views you've created. BR |
