Can't download books with Calibre

I have Kindle Fire HD and Kindle III.
Previously when I had Windows 7 on my PC I did not have any problems with downloading books to both devices using Calibre.
Now, after I have installed Windows 8 Calibre downloads only headers but no content.
Can anybody help me?
