Kindle 3.1 Can I make it show location number?
Is it possible to make my Kindle show location numbers on K3.1? If not, is it possible to downgrade back to 3.0.1?

Only by hitting the menu key will it show the location numbers, I am not sure if it is possible to downgrade, if you do amazon would just automatically upgrade it the next time you connect through either wireless or 3g. so unless you are prepared to never connect again...

Amazon offers its upgrade as a patch - just pieces of code to "fix" (upgrade) what they want. It is not the entire firmware or OS or whatever you want to call it. So there is no way to roll it back and UNDO the upgrade. At least, not officially. I'm sure that Amazon could do it, at least, at the factory.
