Trying and Failing to Jailbreak PW2 Firmwear 5.9.4

I tried following the instructions at https://lifehacker.com/how-to-jailbr...dle-1783864074 When I reset the device it never let me downgrade to the earlier firmwear. I tried uploading main-htmlviewer.tar.gz with no effect, I tried kindle-5.4-jailbreak.zip. Help what am I missing!

One thing you are missing:
You really should be asking for help at lifehacker (we do not have the staff to support forums other than our own).

The other thing you are missing:
There is no jailbreak available for 5.9.4 nor is it possible to downgrade 5.9.4

Next time, send a few minutes reading at least the thread titles here (your question(s) have been answered numerous times - you could have read them here without even joining)

Sorry I did look through but clearly missed it. I was just using the lifehacker as an example of something I tried. Good info on the firmware though thanks.
