I second CharlieBird and RWood -- I would never read a book simply because it was listed by Harvard as a classic, so I much prefer the single book downloads so that I can download those which I feel worth reading and not mess with those which I won't ever read anyway.

Perhaps I'm whipping a dead horse here - but certainly not a dead classic! -- but one clarification:
I.) I mentioned the one download as an optional choice. The numerous files would still be there. However, as Harry points out, many of us here who actively "make" books available for upload are routinely fixing this or tweaking that. It would be interesting, though, if some kind of script could be written that would download one file after the other - an automated process for those who want all the files with two or three clicks of the mouse. Now, where IS that holder for our Reader that someone constructed for those of us too lazy to HOLD the Reader??!!!?? Isn't the Reader fun?? Don ---I'm working on a Mundy and some more noir mysteries, and then I'll do some more Henry (The Brooding Giant) James! |
