"Shelter book"
"Shelter book" in English translates to "Livre de refuge" in
French and "Libro de refugio" in Spanish. I suspect that the English translation you are looking for is something else entirely since the original language's usage is likely idiomatic. Idioms do not translate well. Could you define "shelter book" in a way that does not use the word "shelter"?

Did a little digging online for synonyms of shelter. One was "cover" (e.g., a covering which shelters what is underneath). Another set had to do with protection.

In french, "la cote". I don't know how we can say in english, but it's the code on the side of the book on library. Exemple: (170.5 EVO or 320.78 FRE).

So, the library code equivalent to CDC (Dewey) at French libraries. Do you want to associate it to a specific book as another identifier?
