For those interested, here's a very good article about Buildroot and ct-NG:
http://www.blaess.fr/christophe/2011...ross-compiler/ I'm very amazed at how good Google Translated this French article. Bravo! P.S. Damn! It took a good 12 hours for gcc-gcj, which was a requirement for crosstools-NG, to get compiled. Buildroot better require gcj too or else I'm gonna throw this laptop out. err... guess not! gcj? o_O
I didn't even have a Java JDK installed the first time I used ct-ng! As for the sample, dunno, I always used a custom config (cf. ct-ng-kindle-config for the K3, with the relevant CFLAGS tweaks from x-compile.sh). (And the fact that USBNetwork is barely mentioned in that thread is a feature, not a bug ;p). |
