Machen, Arthur: The Bowmen And The Angel Of Mons. May 2007
This is a short story that stirred quite a Bee's nest when it was first published. It was published and National newspapers got a hold of it and presented it like it really happened. A Phenomenon like that which occurred with the War of the Worlds raged for a few weeks. The gist of the story is that an Angel intervened in a modern battle... And Bowmen of course... Written like a news item from the time...
