I suppose technically that's two words, but I also had to look hapax legomenon up. This place sure does provide a source for all sorts of new knowledge beyond just the latest in reader/tablet technology and books to read. Last edited by Hamlet53; 12-04-2011 at 10:56 AM. |

For my next choice, I'm going with another double choice, what Henry James called the two most beautiful words in the English language: summer afternoon.

My favorite is "summer evening" more than summer afternoon. |

It is a simple mechanical trick in 4 steps: a) You select those two words with the mouse, a double click might be enough. b) Right click c) A drop down menu appears d) Select "Search Google" A new world will appear to you. If you step into it, you might enter in a space filled with curious and stimulating things and concepts of no use whatsoever, but enormously satisfying, entertaining and illuminating on the meaning of all. You might ever encounter the most interesting text ever written, that is the "Art of Memory" by dame Frances A. Yates. For the mere amount of 25.48 dollares you will be introduced to a hidden universe, that is not gone lost or forgotten, luckily. There you might find what the greek-latin roots of this Western culture are: not only rational, but in truth esoteric. And that we are dwarfs on the shoulder of giants. |
