It has been crazy hot the past week. The pool is reminding people that they need to be hydrating because it is becoming a problem. It has not chilled down even after torrential down pours. Crazy hot

A good morning to scale back on the coffee a bit, and get back to drinking more tea. I'll start with an excellent Keemun - Murchie's Extra Superior Keemun.
Murchie's is a BC based tea and coffee merchant that has been doing business in the Greater Vancouver area since 1894, and ships across North America and the world. When Peet's stopped most of it's tea business and gave it over to the (frankly awful) Mighty Leaf tea company, I had to look around for a replacement. It took a bit to find one I could use as a primary source, but Murchie's seems to be the solution. Reasonable prices, some excellent teas, and rapid shipping at reasonable prices. The only tea I still get from Peet's is Lion Mountain Keemun which they periodically have. But even that might get passed over this time, given that the Murchie's XS is an equivalent quality and about the same price, before the cost of cross-border shipping. Though if I were still in the US, I'd probably be stocking up on Lion Mountain Keemun. It really is an excellent Keemun at a reasonable price. |

Second tea. This has been an early, busy day! I'm looking forward to things calming down ... in about two weeks or so.
