Clara 2E Help fixing a Clara 2E with a screen that isn't displaying

I'm trying to fix a Clara 2E that is refusing to display anything. I have however seen it flash (assuming that's still the word for it given that the pixels actually go dark thanks to e-ink) the whole screen.

It's also having a strange thing with the led indicator seemingly just continuing to flash ad infinitum both when it's charging and when it's unplugged, but not when it's turned off thankfully.

I've already tried switching SD card with a new image following the memory upgrade thread, and it doesn't seem to have fixed things. Which also means that I no longer have to worry about anything that might void the warranty, because that's now very much out the window along with the waterproofing coating.

If anyone has any suggestions for things to try, or things to look out for, it would be greatly appreciated.
