The set author links option is a bit redundant for the most part. I included it for specific edge cases, usually related to common names. For example, if you have the book Doggerland by Ben Smith and you click Ben Smiths name in Calibre, you get taken to Ben Smith instead of Ben Smith. The function included in this plugin verifies the correct author by ensuring that the author link is for the author that wrote the specified book.

Yes I get that issue as well, though I couldn't find a pattern to reproduce, as it will set the links for some authors then for others it won't...

Ah now I found something that explains some cases where the link isn't set:

On my db I had a title with author set to "Viktor Frankl" (wouldn't set the link). Changed it to "Viktor E. Frankl", which is the exact match then the plugin set the link.

Likewise I had "William P. Young", then when I set the author to "William Paul Young", it did set the link.

Thanks!! Comfy.n, I trusted it, thinking it would appear in the plugin updates, and that's why I stuck with the version I think was the one where you modified part of the code.
