Device: Asus Prime Z390-A based computer running Win 10 Home X64
updates not installing
update 5.21 64 bit installs, and then immediately sends notification that new upgrade is available and it takes me back to the same link. Lower left corner says it's 5.21.

See attachment - page does not look like any I've seen in operating videos.

This is a new install on a new build. I have been using Calibre for years on a Win 7 x64 based system that failed, and this one is definitely different.

Are you sure you are installing 5.21? Are you maybe running a 32-bit version or a portable version?

Latest Calibre does not run on W7
Code:
calibre works on Windows 8 and 10.
There is no way to turn off the notice for Obsolete OS
