V3 does not run in remote session

Hi

I use X2go to remote to my desktop. V2 runs fine under X2go on Linux x64. I just wanted to try V3 but I am unable to to run it.

I do not have vnc on the desktop because x2go is much faster and offers much better integration.

here is the log with v3

failed to get the current screen resources
QXcbConnection: XCB error: 172 (Unknown), sequence: 169, resource id: 126, major code: 149 (Unknown), minor code: 20
The X11 connection broke: I/O error (code 1)
XIO: fatal IO error 2 (No such file or directory) on X server ":50.0"
after 401 requests (401 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

v2 initially throws some errors too but runs fine.

Presumably Qt 5.6 which calibre 3.0 uses and x2go are incompatible, not much I can do about that.
