Depending on your A/V's definitions of problems... Some seem to flag even an off site URL as 'bad'. F U & D is the sales tactic for some (once decent).
Yep, I have been collecting user manuals for equipment I have (or was in the place I rented). So much easier to find when I need them. ![]() BTW when in a books folder. Never change the name of any the files. (just delouse as needed) |

Besides, you don't need a plugin to check your eBooks. Your AV should be checking them when downloaded. |

Some people are not as trusting as you and would prefer to check files with more than 1 virus scanner.

What makes a document "dodgy"? Does removing javascript fix it?

Might I suggest this is a difference of opinion that isn't relevant to the thread.

I reacted to a new plugin idea in a different section of this forum. I now realize that the best place to post plugin ideas is here. Here is a link:

It was suggested as a new feature for the main calibre program. So I'm happy to leave discussion of AI features in that thread.

My apologies if this has already been implemented and I just don't know it.
I'm very new to graphic novels/manga/comics on my ereader (Kindle PW2) and PC. I've just never had much of an interest except for paperback comics compilations (like Foxtrot or Calvin & Hobbes). Now that I'm starting to collect some newer stuff, I find myself wondering about the image/font quality. Sometimes the font seems fuzzy. Is there a plugin that will tell me things like DPI, dimensions, or other indications of quality for clarity on an ereader? Please also tell me what I should be looking for! |

Expand Tag browser (subgroups) hierarchy upon launch
Reposting my request/idea as this is the right place for it.

I would like to request plugins that would make eReaders that can run KOReader interoperable with the major online book stores, taking away Amazon's monopoly on Kindle purchases. Here is some more info on why this is important https://onezero.medium.com/demonopol...y-b9be6b851238
Since KOReader can sync with Calibre if Calibre was able to sync with online book store libraries this would allow Kindles and other ereaders to be interoperable with many ebook retailers. This could be used in conjunction with Calibre plug ins that remove DRM to make things easier. I think the way this could be achieved is plugin which: 1. Sync to Google Play Books (which also allows you to upload books which are DRM free from other sources). 2. Kobo store 3. eBooks.com 4. iBooks I'm sure there are others but these seem to be the most popular ones |
