Duplicate Pages?

Hello. I'm very new to Calibre and couldn't find a solution for this.

Basically, a chunk of what I've already read appears anew after going to a new page.

I prefer to have 2 pages in each screen, but in doing so, half of the page is repeated on going to a next one.

I'm sure there must be some way to change this.

You may be in Scroll mode. Try Paged mode: that follows the column settings

No. I am in page mode.

As I said, "on going to another page", that is either by the right-arrow key, or clicking on the right side of the screen, I go to the next page, and since in each screen I see two columns of text, the second column is always repeated as the first in the next slide/page.

Thank you for the answer though.

Under Configure book reader => Scrolling behavior, there are three options under Control how scrolling works in paged mode. The options default to page so probably you want to set all of them to screen fulls.

However this will not affect your statement that you are seeing half pages. If you are seeing page 1, page 2 and scrolling shows page 2, page 3 this setting should help.

Thank you so much for the answer!
It did help.

Seeing as I'm more comfortable with the arrow keys, I went ahead and applied the same settings in keyboard shortcuts, and set the "Scroll backwards/forwards smoothly" to the left and right arrow keys, for anyone else who might have the same problem.
