The Prime price is a bargain. 8GB is nice too.

Cool. I was thinking of getting the Amazon box, to use instead of my Roku Stick at certain times. This fits the bill...ordered! (Though it's not as good as the box, but it fits my "cheap")

I already have a Fire TV, but I just ordered a couple, they will make good Christmas presents. If they could get the voice search to work for services besides Amazon, that would be really nice. They say it should be sometime by the end of the year, but I'm not holding my breath. Prime Music isn't much use to me until it's available on the Fire TV.

Ordered.
Pretty happy with my Rokus, but for 19 bucks?... I'll be more than happy to experiment with it. |

Me too. I might be able to get a good price on my Roku stick, since it has a transferable 2 year warranty. And to think I paid $50 for that thing. I am never happy with the quality of the streaming WWE PPV's on it. Last night it kept playing a part over and over, like 8 times. And this was a live event. My DH had the PPV on in his room on his Roku 3 and it didn't do that. I find that unacceptable.

I ordered two. Looking forward to using it at hotels. My televisions already come with "apps". And the kids use their Playstations for accessing content. May come in handy when visiting a friend or family member.

Thanks for the heads-up. $20 for a Prime user? Sold! I'm happy with my Fire TV and this will be perfect for another TV.

Ordered two. Sure glad I kept downloading those free Fire TV apps that weren't compatible with my other devices. You never know when you might get something they'll work with.

I had a $5 credit, so it worked out to <$15. Had to try it at that price.
I have a Chromecast, but the Fire stick might be worth it just for "You Don't Know Jack." Hey, do existing Prime and Netflix members get the free month, like Google did when Chromecast came out? |
