It has been there a Long time (a number of releases). I use it to reduce (IMHO) oversized images (ones that do not need DeTaiLs visible like Maps n charts).

1200 or 2400 wide for a fleuron?
I do REVIEW each use case. No Nukem' all for me.

Trim image: Allow specifying the size of the trim rectangle using numbers

However the screen cap only show the original image resizing so it looks like the old feature and not the new.

You need to first create the crop region manually then adjust its size using the region button. This is a bug: https://github.com/kovidgoyal/calibr...fc75bf71b0fb3d
