[Gui Plugin] Cloud Sync
Local or server files are synchronized with this plugin.
We still have work for the plugin. It is very important that you use feedback. We can eliminate the existing deficiency. Yandex works with WebDav. So username and password are required. Create a file "Calibre" on the server. There is no change if there is. It does not matter where you hold your files locally.Because we get this information from Calibre. There are 4 buttons for Yandex. ->Dowload(When files deleted on site and local automaticly delete as well ) ->Upload(When files deleted on local and other site automaticly delete as well) ->Pull(Fetch missing files) ->Push(Loads missing files) This plugin has a GoogleDrive support, you can work with that your book's can storge to on google drive. GoogleDrive side has a 4 button. ->Auth (When you are want to login with google drive use this button) ->Deauth(This button for forget your google drive credentials) ->Download(Automaticly snyc your drive files to local files) ->Upload(Automaticly snyc your local files to drive files) Example use: You should first authentication with google than press te auth button and system autmaticly detected calibre path and if you want a store library press the upload button. When you want a sync with local path and press the Download button Only linux will work Dependency -Webdavclient-\n $sudo apt-get install libxml2-dev libxslt-dev python-dev $sudo apt-get install libcurl4-openssl-dev python-pycurl $pip install webdavclient --user -Pydrive $pip install pydrive --user Github link: https://github.com/COMU/calibre-cloud-plugin |

Any chance you could make this plugin work with Dropbox? Also, the first post mentions Linux. Does this work with Windows?

The problem is your plugin is not yet ready to be included. It needs to run under Windows, Linux, and OS X.

Can a plugin that's Linux only not be installed on Windows if it's part of the list of plugins?

I don't know if this is helpful or not but: I'm using Resilio Sync to sync folders/files between computers. I love this tool as it is P2P (I have a Pi as "cloud"/proxy server) and it can also just sync parts of files, so sync of large files is very fast.
I'm currently having my library in one of those sync folders and share the library between different computers even across plattforms (Win10 and Raspbian). That works very well but has certain risks as one crash could destroy the library on all plattforms (as the error is synced...). If you had a way to sync individual libraries, it would be brilliant!! Could the plugin work the way that one just points the plugin to a certain folder and the plugin uses this folder for sync? That would allow to use Resilio Sync, Dropbox, Onedrive, etc. pp. and you would not have to care which cloud is used... I'm happy to help testing etc once avail on Win10! |

Currently, I have the desktop client for Google Drive installed on my PC and I have stored a Library on the Drive itself. This bypasses the sync requirement, as my calibre library is itself on the cloud.
