Edit Book - Search question

When doing a search, I have no idea what the tick boxes marked "Wrap" & ""Dot all" refer to.

I have looked in the manual and done a search in the manual, but haven't found any explanation.

I suspect I can work out roughly what the "Wrap" one means, but not the other.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Colin

I suppose you are right. But this wasn't difficult one to spot. I had searched the manual, I did a Google search - BUT I never thought to check on a mouseover!!!

Ah well. That's why forums are a great help to non-regular users.

The simple RegEx queries I have done make me want to learn more, then I see one of the long expressions that someone else has created and I suddenly decide I don't want to learn that much!

Once again thanks.
