Calibre content server downloading doesn't include metadata

Hi everyone, I use an ipad 1 with Stanza and Calibre. I've been having trouble reaching the OSPD catalog, so I've been using the calibre content server to manually download instead. The problem is that the metadata (or book summaries) doesn't appear in stanza as well. Previously with the OSPD catalog, everything gets downloaded, and when you press the information button in stanza, you can see the metadata. After downloading from the Calibre content server, only the title and cover appear. How do I fix this problem, or how do I get the OSPD catalog back (without it saying request timed out)?
